BARCADOURO – Sociedade de Turismo Fluvial e Terrestre, Lda., headquartered at Rua da Malvasia, nº. 90, 5140-154 Linhares CRZ, Carrazeda de Ansiães, registered at the C.R.C. of Carrazeda de Ansiães, under the Unique Number 503588849 Corporate Entity no. 503588849, VAT no. 503588849, Share Capital of 100,000.00 euros, and office at Avenida Ramos Pinto, Store 240, Cais de Gaia, 4400-161 Vila Nova de Gaia.

Reservations

Reservations must be made in writing and will only be considered effective after full payment of the total price of the Cruise.

Payment

100% at the time of booking.

How to Book Online

Only people over the age of 18 may make online reservations on this website.

By making an online reservation on this website, the Customer accepts these General Conditions.

To make an online reservation, the Customer must 1) select the cruise they want on this website’s “BOOK ONLINE” menu; 2) select the desired date for the cruise; 3) indicate the number of passengers and press the “NEXT” button; 4) fill in all the fields presented in the form and press “NEXT”; 5) Check the details of your reservation and proceed with online payment. 6) After making the payment, you will receive an automatic email message confirming the creation of the Reservation with the amount paid; 7) Within a maximum of 96 hours, you will receive by email the documentation related to the reservation made.

Minimum Participants

All Cruises listed on this website are subject to a minimum number of participants defined by Barcadouro. If the number of participants is insufficient, Barcadouro reserves the right to cancel the Cruise, refunding to the Customers the amounts already paid, without being obliged to any additional compensation.

Prices

The prices of the cruises are based on the current costs at the date of this website’s publication. Prices can be changed up to 20 days before the start of the Cruises, should there be variations in the costs of the elements that make them up. All price changes will be communicated to the Customer who, within a deadline set by Barcadouro, will accept the price change or cancel their reservation under the terms and conditions defined in these General Conditions.

The prices listed on this website will have a 100% reduction for children up to 3 years of age and 50% for children aged between 4 and 11 years. All children must be properly accompanied and under the responsibility of an adult.

Taxes and other fees/charges

The prices listed on this website include VAT at the corresponding rates.

Cancellations

Barcadouro reserves the right to cancel any cruise or program due to:

1. the absence of a minimum number of participants;

2. circumstances beyond its control, such as: bad weather and unfavorable navigability conditions; malfunctions in navigation locks, breakdown or damage to the vessels, unexpected delays, among others.

3. Non-compliance with services by third parties, including strikes, unavailability of accommodations, and contracted means of transportation.

In the circumstances indicated in 1., 2. and 3. the Customer may opt for the refund of the amounts already paid or accept another cruise suggested by Barcadouro, with the respective price variation.

The cancellation of any reservation by the Customer obligates them to pay 15%, 30%, 75%, or 100% of the total price of the cruise depending on the cancellation being made 30, 15, 7, 3, or fewer days from the start date of the cruise. Additionally, the Customer will be charged all expenses and charges incurred by Barcadouro with bank expenses, transport, hotels, or any other non-refundable charges.

Changes

Barcadouro may change itineraries, replace vessels with other means of transport, change complementary means of transport (bus, train, or others), and hotels planned for others of similar category and location whenever unforeseen situations beyond its control occur, including bad weather and unfavorable navigability conditions, non-compliance with services contracted to third parties, strikes, malfunctions in navigation locks, breakdowns, damage, and delays in vessels.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is only allowed on the sun deck.

Pets

Only assistance dogs (Decree-Law No. 74/2007 of March 27) are allowed on board.

Complaints

Only complaints made by participants during the cruise and submitted in writing within 5 days after the date of the service will be considered.

Insurance

Barcadouro’s responsibility is guaranteed by insurances required by Portuguese Law.

Validity

The contents of this website and these General Conditions are valid from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022
